If you’re a lifelong Mancunian, the city streets are much more than just the backdrop to your life story. Think of the city as a very shy friend: there through thick and thin, but reluctant to give up its own secrets.
The ginnels you raced through on your bike, the statues who witnessed your best and worst haircuts, the pavements that bear the weight of all the pairs of shoes you’ve ever worn—they’ve been there all along and you never even noticed them, or their significance. Until now.
Race Across The World: The Experience is about exploring hidden gems and urban icons, visiting great local cafés and pubs and seeing a city for what it is: an adventure waiting to happen.
And if you’re new to Manchester? The same applies to you. This city might not know you yet, but you’re about to get acquainted on a whole new level.

Just like on the TV show, Race Across The World: The Experience tests your ability to manage a virtual, in-game budget wisely (or not, depending on how you want to play).
As the experience is only around 3 hours long, however, you won’t need to book overnight train tickets or hotels. Instead, you’ll have to use your budget to reach your next checkpoint swiftly and efficiently.

As long as there are 2-8 players on your team, who you compete with is up to you, and you can tailor the experience to suit your needs.
For instance, families can choose to stick as a unit (kids under 10 play free with paying adults). Couples can take on the experience for a unique date night. And corporate groups? Well, you can show who’s really the boss by competing on your own internal leaderboard.
