The news is finally out there, London is getting another Race Across The World Experience and this time, it’s going to be set in the heart of London’s West End.
Not only that, but it’s going to be released just as the city gets a shimmering, sparkling, seasonal makeover.
Now, we know what you might be thinking. You think you've seen it all; Piccadilly, Covent Garden performers, the buzz of Leicester Square, but we guarantee you’ve never seen the West End like this.
This November, players will have the opportunity to take on a limited edition of the race by playing Race Across The World: The Experience Christmas Special.
Just as the name suggests, it’s going to take on a festive, Christmassy theme and we have some really exciting surprises in store for you all. We’re not going to give any of them away here, but we will divulge a few details about what to expect…
See Christmas Lights in London With a Twist…
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, those dark winter nights are fast approaching us. The good news is that there is a bright side: nothing makes London’s Christmas lights pop quite like an inky blue sky.
Even though London’s Christmas lights and decorations are world-famous, there’s a chance you’ve never really appreciated them for their uniqueness.
Did you know, for instance, that the Greek god of requited love made an appearance in London’s Christmas lights last year? Or that some of the displays were designed by local primary school children? Or that last year’s Christmas tree gift from Norway was 60 years old?
Apart from being dazzling to look at, the West End’s Christmas lights will light your way as you dash between checkpoints on the race. And if you want to stop and take a closer look at them, we certainly won’t stop you…
Unwrap Some Brand New Puzzles
We hope you’re on Santa’s good list this year, but even if you aren’t, we’ll still give you three brand new puzzles to solve while you’re out exploring.
Each Race Across The World Experience gets its own set of physical puzzles, characters, checkpoint venues and clues, so even if you’ve taken part in our other races in London or Manchester, there are plenty of surprises in store.
We won’t spoil the fun by telling you what they are here, but let’s just say that you’ll need your thinking caps as well as optional Santa hats (or maybe one of our beanies!) to unlock your next destination!
