With half term holidays, Halloween and the clocks going forward, October has been an incredibly busy month for Race Across The World: The Experience teams across London and Manchester.
As for us, we’ve been quite busy too with the release of the Christmas special of Race Across The World: The Experience in London’s West End. There are now three races across the UK and just two months left of 2025 to get your team’s name on the leaderboard this year, and as this latest edition is limited edition, you only have until the end of December!
For now though, we thought we’d look back at some of the October highlights shared with us from teams just like you. Here’s what they told us!

An “Awesome” After Work Social in Manchester
Team Fast & Litigious took on Race Across The World: The Experience in Manchester this month and were kind enough to leave us this lovely review:
“We went as a team after work and really enjoyed it! Saw lots of sights we hadn’t seen before (and we had a few Mancunians in the team!) so it was great for sight-seeing too! We also stopped for a couple of drinks along the way which was awesome. Highly recommend!”

Some Friendly Advice from Team Fumane
Team Fumane completed the Manchester Race Across The World Experience and were good enough to give future teams a head’s up about staying on task…
“Great fun! A really good way to bond a group together. Just don't get distracted as there is a lot to do in the Race!”

Team Sasaco Had Their Expectations Exceeded
We love to hear that teams have had a great time wherever they join the race, whether they’re local or just visiting. But there really is something extra special about having high expectations and then having them exceeded. Thank you, team Sasaco!
“Absolutely amazing experience. We had really high expectations for the day and these were exceeded massively thank you! It was interesting, tricky, exciting and very well put together. Would absolutely recommend.”

The Lost & Founders Celebrated a Birthday in Style
It means a lot to us when we learn that teams have spent their precious special days racing across a city with us, so imagine how big our smiles were when husband and wife team, The Lost & Founders, sent us this:
“We had a great time completing the race across Manchester yesterday for my husband’s birthday. Brilliant set up, clever clues and great locations, we really enjoyed it & I will be recommending it to all my friends & family.”

Team Good Vibrations Lived Up To Their Team Name
We’re always chuffed to bits when we hear that teams enjoyed their race so much that they’re keen to sign up for another round. Good news, your wish is our command! There’s another Race Across The World Experience in London that’s already available to play now!
We’d also like to take the opportunity to wish team Good Vibrations some “good vibes” and good luck for their next race!
“What an amazing day this Race across London experience is. Such a fun way to see little known parts of London. Would definitely recommend this experience, we'd love to do more routes in London if they're available."

Racetime Frankies Realised They Were More Competitive Than They Thought
It’s up to you whether you play Race Across The World: The Experience competitively or not (it’s not a must, take it at a pace that suits you!), but some teams learn their approach to problem-solving is less laid back than they thought… like Racetime Frankies, for instance:
“We had the BEST time! Started off quite relaxed and then quickly got quite competitive once we saw the first leaderboard :-). Great way to spend an afternoon, and learned some things about a city I’ve lived in for 20 years. Fully recommend!!”

Signing The Coveted Guest Book Has Been Ticked Off This Team’s Bucket List
It’s the moment every fan dreams of, and it’s also the moment that all teams on all three Race Across The World experiences get to take part in: signing the guest book (once you’ve tracked it down, of course!).
As for team Norfolk Chance, that ended up being their highlight:
“Fab day, amazing experience, loved signing the book.”

Team DonCon25 Enjoyed a Family Day Out
For many teams, Race Across The World: The Experience is a great excuse to organise a family day out and we love hearing that people of all ages are enjoying the race.
We especially love it when we hear it straight from you, the teams, so thank you to team DonCon25 who submitted this:
“Myself and my 12yr old son had a really fun day out together. Really enjoyed it.”
