You’ll get new physical puzzles to solve, new characters to meet and new routes to unlock wherever you decide to race.

Race Across the World: The Experience is a foot race through a city that involves budgeting, strategising and teamwork.
You’ll use WhatsApp to receive clues and directions, manage your virtual budget and track your progress on the leaderboard, but the adventure takes place on real city streets in real time.

Race Across The World: The Experience is a live adventure split into three legs.

You’ll race entirely on foot, and how you get to and from checkpoints will be decided by your in-game choices. You’ll also solve physical puzzles, “buy” directions using in-game currency and discover hidden gems along the way.

That’s for you to decide!

If you want to play head-to-head against another team of your choice, ensure you purchase multiple teams on the same booking. You will then be able to set up your teams via your dashboard.

Otherwise, you will be matched with other random participants and race on an overall leaderboard.

We are committed to making the experience as accessible and inclusive as possible. With this in mind we have designed the experience to include the following elements:
● Multiple route options catering to a broad range of needs including step-free routes.
● Players will interact with the experience through their own devices, ensuring they are familiar with the interface they are using, and its settings are tailored to their needs.
● Free tickets are available for accompanying carers/support workers - please email [email protected] for these.

Families are always welcome to take part in the race! However, the races are designed with an adult audience in mind with moderately challenging puzzles and clues.

Children will need guidance and support from adults to solve the clues and navigate the route.

Selecting the "Family-Friendly" option at setup doesn’t alter the race’s difficulty, but it does ensure your checkpoint stops are suitable for families.

The minimum age to purchase tickets for the experience is 18+. All players under 18 must have a paying adult accompanying them on the race.

We release tickets in seasons. Stay tuned to find out when more tickets drop and where the experience is available to play!

The experience lasts about 2-3 hours without breaks. The fastest completion time is under 1 hour, so get as competitive as you like!

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to rest up at checkpoints where the race timer pauses. Allow more time if you wish to spend longer at checkpoints.

The Experience is a foot race, and involves 2-3 hours of walking across 5 kilometres (3.1 miles).

If you want to run, we won’t stop you–but if you’d prefer to take your time and soak up the sights, we support that decision too! No matter your speed, you’ll get the chance to relax, grab refreshments and rest up at checkpoints.

Unfortunately not, the experience is completed on foot in London/Manchester. That said, you’ll walk about 5 kilometres (3.1 miles) in total, and you’ll be amazed at the different areas you’ll visit and cultures you’ll find!

No, sorry locals! You’ll need to put your thinking caps on as firmly as non-locals to win this one.

You need no local knowledge, and if you have any, it won’t be of much use to you. You’ll be navigating between checkpoints on foot, and it’s all about discovering and making choices that affect your race.

No, participants are challenged to race between three checkpoints without using any public transport.

The start and finish locations are near public transport links for ease of access.

The experience is perfect for couples, groups, friends, families, birthdays, stag-dos, hen parties, corporate events and team building days.

You’ll only play with your team(s), although you may see others racing nearby! If you are a large group please reach out to [email protected] and we’ll help with the booking.

Each team has a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 8. This is to make sure that everyone has a great time and can get involved with the game.

For group bookings (more than one team), one person should book on behalf of all players to ensure that all players end up on the same booking.

It’s never a bad idea to check the weather forecast before you head out on your adventure, so make sure you’re protected from sun, rain, and any other precipitation the elements may throw at you.

No matter the weather though, wear comfortable shoes - there’s a fair bit of walking involved, and you don’t want aching feet to dash your hopes of topping the leaderboard.

Fans will appreciate the Easter eggs we’ve included along the way but newbies will have no problem understanding the rules or premise of the game. It’s a game for everyone!

We do our best to be flexible and we're happy to reschedule your race where capacity allows!

While there are lots of route variations that depend on your choices within the race; unfortunately, we aren’t able to guarantee you’ll take different routes on a rerun.
Physical puzzles at each checkpoint would also remain the same.

Multiple teams on the same booking will automatically receive a private leaderboard website link. This will be provided within the race messaging once your game begins.

Each team may have a different start location (even on the same booking), but teams on the same booking will always finish at the same end location.

By all means, you’re more than welcome to bring your four-legged teammate along! Make sure to select the dog-friendly route while setting up. Guide dogs can be present on any route.
