Welcome to Race Across the World: The Experience in London!

Get ready for an interactive experience that takes you through the heart of London.
Solve clues, navigate the city, and uncover hidden secrets, all while racing against the clock... or simply enjoying the race at your own pace!

Book your experience
- Choose your preferred date and time. Booking slots are released in batches.
- Purchase tickets for the teams you would like to play in, e.g. 2 x teams of 2 players to play head-to-head, 2 vs 2.
- Receive a confirmation email with all the details you need for your race.
Gather your team(s)
- Set up your experience prior to starting. Follow the instructions on your booking confirmation email, you can set up teams up to 7 days before your race begins.
- All players can receive messages, but only one person per team needs to reply.
- Once you have received your welcome message, you’re ready to play!
Start your race
- The races are self-guided. When you’re at (or near) the start location, send “START” to commence play.
- You'll receive instructions on how to begin your adventure.
- The first checkpoint is likely to be different for teams playing head-to-head. The end checkpoint will be the same for teams under the same booking.

Key details

Duration: The experience typically lasts 2-3 hours.
Location: Starts at Liverpool Street Station and ends near the Tower of London. Note this is not your first checkpoint. This will be allocated once you have sent “START”.
Group size: Suitable for teams of 2-8 people (Larger groups can split into smaller teams. Large groups click here.)
Accessibility: Step-free and dog-friendly routes available.
What to bring: Comfortable shoes, a charged smartphone with internet and a sense of adventure!
Weather policy: Experience runs rain or shine! Dress weather appropriate. If you’re playing when it gets dark, bring a torch!

Rules of the Race

1. No public transport
The game is only playable on foot (wheelchair-friendly!). Only in-game shortcuts allowed! (And it wont help anyway!)

2. In-game currency only
The only time you’ll need to physically pay for anything extra in the game is if you wish to purchase food and drink at the optional checkpoints.

3. What to bring
All you need to play Race Across The World: The Experience is a mobile phone with internet access, comfortable footwear and at least one teammate.

4. Work opportunities
Work opportunities are fictional and are used to replenish your in-game budget or advance your score in the race.
